Welcome to my new look web site, I've changed the content to co-inside with a new direction I'm venturing into with my dolls.
After 12 years of creating and selling my little characters at fairs I've decided to leave the fair scene behind and open an Ebay Shop. With the shop I can have more control of my work load, instead of having to put commissions on hold while I make stock for my stands. Another benefit of the shop is customers can see what dolls are available at anytime and buy through Paypal, which takes credit/debit cards so customers do not have to have a paypal account.
The one thing I will miss is meeting customers in person, however another direction I'm goung in will hopefully make up for this.
Workshops
I have been giving talks and demonstrating my doll makeing on a small scale for a few years now and was asked by my local branch of the British Doll Makers Guild if I would do a workshop for them. Showing my methods is fun but teaching others to create their own dolls was somethong that took a lot of planning.
For the workshop I produced a Booklet with comprehensive instructions and a kit with all the materials needed and with these my first workshop was a great success.
I now want to pass on my methods to others and so I hope to hold workshops for
4 - 12 people.
